What does the Turi mean?
Absolutely nothing. We wanted a name that felt inspired by the utility of European bicycles and spoke to it’s ability to tour, cruise, work for families, and riders who wanted accessibility and comfort.
Is the CVT that much better?
If you’ve ever had a bicycle stuck between gears, or two shifters that didn’t make sense, or clanking shifting, you know the pain. The CVT hub is ultra smooth and you feather the resistance to a perfect comfort level with a twist of the grip.
Would you consider the Turi to be a “Hybrid” bicycle?
If you want to casually ride - go V Brakes. If you are considering commuting or all season riding- make the move to the disc brake version.
